I am now becoming rather too interested in skull and cross bone motifs found in Celtic graveyards/burial grounds. Today was no exception, as you can see from the image below. A rather fetching image, captured in black and white, from a mausolem tomb belonging to the Fersuson clan. If anyone has any similar images, please do get in touch. I appear to be making a survey of them, even though I have a million other things I should be getting on with. But when it is a beautiful day, the sun is shining, I cannot help but pack up my 'archaeology kit' and off I go, trekking into the wilds.
