We did it! After seven longs years plagued by an 'exhibition curse,' whose destructive powers affected all those involved, Symbols of Mortality - Exploring Orkney's Funerary Art and Architecture finally opened in Orkney Musuem yesterday, to a packed gallery and thus a roaring success. In truth, I was flabbergasted by just how many good Orkney folk turned up to my gallery talk and opening. I will be forever grateful for their support. Watch this space for further exhibition events.
